The Acura fuel system contains the combustion chamber, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the gas tank.Acuras run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The fuel system provides and stores where it is vaporized fuel to the cylinders, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your Acura’s gas pedal, then you control. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls amount of gas air to let in.
The gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the spark plug, producing a clean burn which powers the Acura.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is very important.
Come in to have your old Acura’s gas filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets your manufacturer’s recommendations.
